Client Services Team Member
General Job Description:
The primary function of a member of the Client Services Team is to support a specific team of Sales Representatives, and Project Managers and service all of the accounts belonging to those representatives. Daily duties include ordering and pricing product according to the appropriate contract, handling client calls in a professional/efficient/timely manner, completing necessary internal paperwork for service/installations and completing required paperwork for warranty replacement product from various vendors. The Client Services Team is also responsible for utilizing Intereum’s various technologies to complete the above listed tasks. In addition, the Client Services Team members rotate lunch coverage at the front desk and support inbound service calls for clients that are not assigned to a specific Sales Rep. These additional items are shared within our group equally.
Essential Responsibilities & Functions:
- Coordination of all services: design and installation
- Create service orders
- Meet with Designer &/or Project Managers
- Review service orders/change orders for invoicing/completion to customer’s satisfaction
- Inputting specifications into CAP
- Product Orders/Order clarification/Securing delivery dates requested
- Reviews acknowledgements
- Developing professional and positive relationships with client contacts
- Assurance that projects are finalized/ punchlist completed (in conjunction with Project Managers/Installation Supervisors)
- Customer Satisfaction Surveys
- Using available technologies to complete tasks in efficient and timely manner
- Keeping client, Sales Rep(s) & Project Managers current on project/order status
- Responsible for AIM pulls, off site stock orders, and other furniture coordination
- Coordination of the completion of all necessary paperwork
- Ability to quickly and effectively resolve problems
- Showroom Service Calls
- Front Desk Coverage, as assigned
Experience, Education and Skills Preferred:
- Interpersonal and communications skills to effectively interact with every department, manufacturer and client
- Demonstrate initiative to provide superior assistance to clients and to Sales Representative(s)
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining composure and consideration for clients and co-workers
- Prioritization skills
- Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction and Intereum corporate values
- Organizational skills to handle volume of detailed transactions with speed and accuracy
- Knowledge of Intereum products
- Knowledge of Intereum processes and paperwork
- Knowledge of HMI processes as they relate to Intereum
- Knowledge of CAP specification package
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Team Design
- High School diploma or equivalent required
Compensation:
Total Compensation target to consist of:
- Salary

Workplace Design Team — Intern
General Job Description:
Primary purpose of this position is to give an Interior Design student the opportunity to work with the Workplace Design Team and get experience in the industry. Intern will work closely with the Resource Coordinator to maintain and improve the Resource Library, and will further support the Designers and Resource Coordinator with other tasks as required.
Essential Responsibilities & Functions:
- Monitor and maintain Herman Miller product literature/samples
- Monitor and maintain literature and fabric/finish/carpet samples from non-HMI vendors
- Keep Resource Library, HMI product literature and fabric/finish areas neat and organized
- Perform other duties on daily/weekly Intern Task List
- Prepare color and finish boards as requested by Designers
- Run prints as requested
- Assist with field verifications
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Other Responsibilities and Job Information:
- This person is working toward obtaining a Design Degree and should view this position as temporary.
- This person should be eager to experience a variety of tasks
- Self motivated with direction
- Demonstrates commitment to professionalism, integrity and sound judgment
- Intern will be paid an hourly rate and is responsible for turning in a time card each week.
