Thanksgiving: What to Buy & What to DIY

What You Will Need:

What You Need to Make Mason Jar Candles:

  1. Mason Jars
  2. Isreaeli Ruscus or Greenery of Choice
  3. Cranberries
  4. Tea Lights
  5. Water

Instructions: First, place your greenery of choice inside the mason jar and fill it up ¾ of the way with water. Next, sprinkle in your cranberries and place the tea light on top. It’s that simple!

                                                              Set the Table

What You Will Need:

  1. Magis Baguette Table: Herman Miller
  2. Abstract Brushstroke Salad Plate & Metal Large Plate: West Elm
  3. Rolled Napkins with Accents: DIY instructions below

What You Need to Make Rolled Napkins:

  1. Burlap Napkins
  2. Neutral Colored Yarn
  3. Cinnamon Sticks
  4. Pine or Greenery of Choice

Instructions: Take each burlap napkin and roll them across. Place your patch of pine and one cinnamon stick on top. Lastly, take some yarn and wrap it around 4 times. You’ll want to close it with a bow so guests can easily take it apart and use their napkin.

What You Will Need:

  3. Thanksgiving Pumpkins: DIY instructions below

What You Need to Make Thanksgiving Pumpkins:

  1. Mini Pumpkins
  2. White Spray Paint
  3. Gold Spray Paint
  4. Gold Glitter
  5. Leaves & Pine Cones (find outside)

Instructions: Purchase 5 or 6 different sized pumpkins, ranging from medium to small. Look around the house or local park for pine cones and medium sized leaves. Take these items outside and prepare to spray paint, you will want to wear rubber gloves and paint clothes. First, spray paint your pumpkins white and while the paint is drying, sprinkle some gold glitter on top. Next, spray paint your leaves gold. You can either leave your pine cones natural or spray paint those as well. When everything is dry (roughly 2 hours) set it all up with a few candles!
