Carlson Wagonlit Travel
CWT takes collaboration to a new level.
Carlson Wagonlit Travel had one thing in mind as they prepared to renovate their offices: collaboration.
Their teams are spread across four floors of the Carlson Towers. As they updated their space, it was essential that the updates they made provided a variety of settings and postures to empower their employees at work. CWT partnered with CBRE, Unispace, and Intereum to bring their project dreams together. They drew inspiration from their overseas offices and their branding, wanting to create comfortable, bright, and elevated spaces for their teams.
Our team was focused on ancillary spaces. We helped to transition private offices to small meeting rooms, create more collaborative spaces, and designed conference rooms with a focus on technology. We applied our workplace expertise to maximize their space utilization and implement solutions that provide choice for their workforce – places that employees can meet and be productive. Collaborative areas now support every activity from lounging conversations and private phone calls to dynamic stand-up meetings and multi-tasking lunches. Each floor now has its own unique feel and design within their branding, which lends itself to path-finding and creates one cohesive office experience across the four floors. All four floors also offer two hub cafes that can be utilized as venues for town halls, open lounge areas for drop-in meetings, several small meeting rooms, phone rooms, and collaborative, technology-focused conference rooms.
Because of Carlson Wagonlit Travel's emphasis on collaboration, their offices have been transformed into a haven for co-working. Employees are well supported and given more control over how and where they work. Whether it be in teams, small groups, or individually – there is definitely a space in their office for whatever activity they may take on. We are grateful to have collaborated on such an impressive project with a wonderful team.
