The VA Clinic’s mission is to provide Veterans readily accessible healthcare by providing primary care, mental health care, and specialty care. We are proud to have been part of the effort to create the Shakopee location, bringing care closer to many. The inclusion of mental health services at this facility is an important addition for VA Clinics in the past several years – one that requires careful design consideration and planning. Working within the vision of the talented team at Pope Architects, we collaborated to deliver solutions that met HIPAA standards while lending to a calm, welcoming environment. It was rewarding to work directly with the VA designers to be sure the space was going to best support their patient and staff needs.
